I have been teaching at Mason High School since 2000. My responsibilities include teaching agriscience and biology classes and serving as the Mason FFA Advisor. Prior to coming to MHS I taught for two and half years at Laingsburg High School. I completed my BS in Agriscience with a minor in Biology at Michigan State University. I have a passion to help students understand and appreciate their relationship with their surrounding environment, including a connection to the food and fiber industries. Helping students gain self confidence and improve their leadership skills through FFA activities is what inspired me to become a teacher. When not working with students at school I spend time with my family. My beautiful wife, Shana, and I are blessed to have four healthy children; Emma, William, Sophia and Amelia.
