I grew up in the small town of Ottertail, Minnesota. In high school I moved to Grand Haven, MI and graduated from Grand Haven High School. I attended Central Michigan University and earned a BS in Biology and Chemistry. During my junior year in college I studied abroad in Australia at the University of Wollongong. Prior to teaching I worked in the Cellular-Molecular Division of Parke-Davis Pharmaceutical. I then went back to CMU to earn a teaching certificate. I taught 1 year at Lawton High School, 5 years at Lansing Catholic and have been at Mason High School since 2007. I love spending time with my husband Mike and twin boys, Max and Evan. Volleyball is another one of my passions.
